The Obstacle is the Path
Don’t expect to have the answer all the time. Fight for progress, humility is your friend.
I think this is important in anything in life. So often we face obstacles but as Leo Babauta put it, “the obstacle is the path.”
Whatever the obstacle is put time and effort towards moving it, even if the work makes you feel uncomfortable. Doing the work is all you need to focus on. You need not focus on the distant end goal, only focus on that one moment, that one task or that one part of a task.
So what, you don’t know everything, nobody does. Do not be afraid to make mistakes as that is how progress is made. There are no stupid questions. Don’t hide behind a vail meant to exude protection or act as your coat of armer, remove the front and be who you are. Ask questions to get answers for what you need to know instead of postponing for another time.
